It's the middle of another Canadian summer and with the 27 degree weather, I've decided to be on my computer. The reason? I'm excited for the future of FOTOCAN.
After the pandemic, a slight drop in donations and a shift in board memberships, we are back on track to becoming a vital aide to the NPH family.
After five years, we have our first Canadian long-term volunteer application.
We are researching possible projects in Mexico and Honduras!
(Dominican Republic is going full steam ahead with a project from February 1 to 22)
Our new campaigns for Adopt-a-Nurse and Adopt-a-Classroom will be more actively promoted come the fall.
We raised over $3,000.00 for the peanuts program in Haiti this past spring.
We are actively recruiting new board members for September.
There is reason for hope and potential for increasing our presence on the NGO scene.
